The Code for Two New Compiz Animations

Well, here it is, the code for “Helix” and for “Blinds”. Right now, neither of these are in the Compiz Git repositories, so you’ll need to compile the code yourself by replacing the entire plugins-main/src/animation directory with the code you got from the link in the first sentence and compiling normally. Both have options for number of rotations and polygons, and also options for the thickness and of the polygons. I even added a mode to Helix that allows it to spin with the axis in/out of the screen. Try it out, tell me what you think! Oh, and here’s a screencap of the new Helix “vertical” mode, for those of you too lazy to compile code 😀

Also, here’s the link to the videos of all the animations in one place…
