So if you run some cryptic iptables command that’s made your computer not able to talk to the outside world what do you do? Simple. Run these:
iptables -P INPUT ACCEPT
iptables -P OUTPUT ACCEPT
itpables -P FORWARD ACCEPT
Write it down somewhere, might come in handy.
In case you’re wondering, the first command deletes all user defined chains. The second, should delete all chains, the third through fifth, define policy to accept everything.
